My card hasnt been performing as it should in my eyes. gtx 670 gigabyte. Games that used to run at a smooth 60 are having issues, like saints row 3 and i just installed 4 and its horrible even if i put settings all the way down i can get 60-75 but it still has dips. Prototype 2 runs like crap but i've found that its a bad port. I have an i5 2500k cpu @ 3.3ghz
16gb ram

also guild wars 2 has been having frame dips but since thats an mmo i've been told thats more reliable on the cpu or something like that..

Please help and if theres any other info i can provide just let me know

i just want everything to run at its optomized nvidia settings says saints row is at ultra (and it used to be soo smooth above 60fps) but now im like just at a loss here

Try to rule out software problems first, like viruses, malware, driver issues, also make sure your computer isn't down-throttling from overheating.

In my personal experience, video card death symptoms include graphical corruptions or sometimes it stops working all together.

I suggest to clean wipe the drivers, update all chipset drivers, bios and make sure your operating system is clean and not infected with viruses that may hog resources.

Dont rely on Windows defender too much, its useless.

Chipset drivers, bios?.

If a clean wipe and reinstall of windows dont fix it, then its a hardware problem.

motherboard chipset with bios and VGA bios.

The best virus protection is a monitored firewall.

You should really think about a windows reinstall, especially if you have not done it in a year or two.

install a temperature monitor and post both the CPU and GPU temps when you are gaming - how high do they go?
