Hi guys I just got done building my comp and got it up n running. Works very well so far. I checked the temps in cpuid and it showed every temp was low except for the tmpin2. I have very good air flow in my case so i was wondering if this is an error or something i need to take a look at. Any help is greatly appreciated!

80 C was normal for an overclocked nVidia 680i MCP. That and lack of Yorkfield support was why I shifted to Gigabyte motherboards a few years ago.

I agree with amdfangirl. 80 C for a northbridge - well, the amd equivalent - is hot. About the only thing that should be running at 80 C is the GPU.

BTW, nice picture. Best one yet.

system temp runs around 35-40 C and gpu runs around 40-50 C and cores run aroung 30-40 C.
i have an antec 300 case which has 2 front fans, 1 rear fan, and 1 top fan. i have a amd phenom ii x4 955 and using the stock heat sink. what fan do you suggest i get to decrease the NB temp?
