Kingston Fury 16Gb (2x 8 GB) 1866 not working on GA-Z68X-UD3H-B3

Hi Guys,

I have GA-Z68X-UD3H-B3 and currently have 8 GB(2X 4 GB) corsair vengence 1600 on my system. I got Kingston Fury 16Gb (2x 8 GB) 1866 for cheap and was looking to upgrade the ram. But when I insert them I just get beeps like no RAM is present. If I Put back my old ones it boots fine. I also tried single sticks, did not work. Am I missing something? or my motherboard and RAM are not compatible?

My CPU is Intel® Core™ i7-2600K ...
I updated the BIOS and first try didn't work PC was restarting but was able to get it done eventually........ . But before I could check to see if PC boots correctly my HDD died.........Tried different SATA cables/ports and power cable get no bootable device error. DVD drive works for same cable/port so know that they are fine. I ordered new one
Is there a way to check if HDD dead completely? and possibly recover the data myself?
