I posted this under motherboards due to the motherboard code.

The intermittent flashing 08 can mean that there is a short circuit on the north side. Which would suck.

Because the error is from 04 to 08. So try clear the CMOS by the jumper, and try only one stick RAM ( if one does not work try other one). If you can boot after that try use the intel XMP profile to set the RAM setting. Or try update the BIOS too. Then test the RAM by MemTest86 http://www.memtest86.com/download.htm
