Hello, I was just wondering if my 450w Bronze Rated Antec power supply will be able to handle an AMD 380 with a i5 4440 @ 3.1ghz.

If not, will it handle a GTX 970? Thanks.

I'm also running a GTX 660 right now.

Solution
450 watts with a R9 380 may work, but it will push the power supply hard under full load. 550 watts is recommended for the R9 380. The same goes for the GTX 970, which has similar, but slightly less, power requirements. Most 450 watt PSU's don't have the needed 6-pin PCIe power cables needed by a GTX 970 and R9 380. It looks like you need to upgrade your PSU in either case.

Alright, thanks.

Do you recommend any psu's?
I'm planning on on getting this one: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=9SIA24G28N5255&cm_re=600w-_-17-438-014-_-Product

Admirable

anything from XFX is very good also if you're looking at EVGA you can get the B2/G2 series then that is favourable as they are tier 1 Psu's
