How to Play counter strike on same LAN different networks ???

i want to play counter strike on LAN. Issue is I am on network with IP : 192.168.19.75 and my friend IP is 192.168.12.251 (both DHCP). ALso my university uses Cyberoam Security portal. ? Can anyone help... Himatchi is not working ..it always showing reconnecting...

Can you ping between the ip addresses.

It greatly depends on how this is setup. If this a simple routed network then the end devices should be able to talk....unless there is a firewall preventing it. If there is NAT involved then you likely will never get it to work.

Really this is a question for the IT guys at the university there really is no way to guess how they have set it up.
