Hallo

I have an i5-750, 8gb ram, ssd and 660ti graphic card. what is the maximum setting i can do for fallout 4?
for some reason, i have to really lower my resolution to 1024 * 800 before i can play with the lowest setting.
i tried playing at 1280 * 720 but Nvidia driver would crash (kernel crashed) and i am using the latest driver btw.

Any advice is appreciated.
Thank you

You should be able to play Fallout 4 decently enough with your rig.

The GPU in my desktop died 2 days before the game was released so I am currently playing FO4 on my laptop. I am waiting around for a good deal on a GTX 960 or GTX 970... I am not much of a gamer anymore so not sure if I want to spend around $325 for the GTX 970.

My laptop has a dual core i5-4200u and a Radeon HD 8850m which basically allows me to play FO4 at 1600x900 resolution with a mix of low to high settings. I generally get 30 FPS - 45 FPS but some areas the FPS would drop to 20 FPS I think. I was only using FRAPS to check FPS for around 5 hours several days ago. The GTX 660 Ti is definitely more powerful than my Radeon HD 8850m since my mobile GPU is less powerful than the desktop GTX 550 Ti.
