I am spec'ing out a workstation used for 3D rendering for predicting how a product reacts to real-world forces (FEA) and CAD.
I'm looking for a dual-cpu motherboard for the e5-4669 v3 processor that I can run Windows on, that has at least 3 PCI-E slots and, preferably one that uses DDR4 RAM, though I'm flexible on this.

An E5-4xxx is intended for a quad socket motherboard. For a dual socket ONLY solution why wouldn't you use a E5-2699V3 CPU? 18 cores also and 200Mhz faster base clock...
