I am buying a new PC but would like to keep my current PC. I want to put a nividia GT730 ddr5 or at least a ddr3 version in my PC Express slot (on the oldPC-The Acer).Is this doable or even worth while ? With 4 gigs of system ram being the max, I thought the gt730 being dedicated might help without bottlenecking.Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Yes it does, it has one PCIE x16 slot for that purpose.
The ddr3 version of the 730 is actually faster than the ddr5 one due to a wider memory bus interface.
Just make sure the GPU you get specifically says LOW PROFILE.
