It will fit into any standard atx case correct?

Generally yes, but standard ATX refers to the motherboard fitment. Maximum GPU length is usually a figure that the case manufacturer will provide. If not, just measure from the PCI expansion slots toward the front of the case until you run into something. Compare that with the GPU's length.

Well of two ati radeon hd 5970's fit im sure one gtx 970 sc will fit snug!
