Im choosing between a GTX 970 G1 gaming , R9 390X G1 gaming or a R9 390X Sapphire Tri-X ? Do the R9 390X's go really hot ? Decent for overclocking like the 970 is ?

The g1 970 is an ok overclocker not the worst i would say mine went to 1570 on core and 8000 on mem but in your place i would def take the 390x its neck and neck with the 980 not the 970 ;)
