Hello friends! My knowledge in terms of hardware is pretty basic which is why I'm hoping you will be able to help me. :hello: I'm thinking of getting a new graphics card that will be obtainable within £150-170, from what I know, an upgrade will also require me to change my power supply, in that case I would need a recommendation for that as well, I hope to spend no more than £40 on it.

My PC is a Dell XPS 8300 and below is a little specs info:

You will need to measure how much room you have for the video card this one is 267mm it should fit but just make sure.
The 4GB version of the GTX 960 is not needed the card does not have really the power to push it anyhow.
I'm not sure I would use a R9 380 that case has limited cooling.

rhysiam - Thank you, I did some research whether to pick R9 380 or GTX 960 and decided to stick with AMD since it usually gives those few extra FPS while gaming, which means it might last longer than Nvidia. My next question is, will this version of R9 380 work with my PC and the power supply you have mentioned as well? It seems like it's larger in size which is worrying, but the card is probably worth spending a few extra pounds: http://www.amazon.co.uk/MSI-R9-380-Gaming-Graphics/dp/B00ZPOBI0M/ref=pd_cp_147_1?ie=UTF8&refRID=1FDAFV4CP4J02AEECDC1

Thank you, I wasn't aware that the card won't be using its full potential, does this mean that the future games will run similarly to the 2GB version? I might actually have to go with Nvidia because of the cooling like you said. The power supply you recommended has 450W, I currently have 460W so I'm not exactly sure how it's going to help me out?

Guys do you think this card would work as well? http://www.ebuyer.com/722277-gigabyte-gtx-960-4gb-gddr5-dual-link-dvi-hdmi-displayport-pci-e-grpahics-card-gv-n960oc-4gd?gclid=CJKslvDmockCFUg8Gwod904ACQ#fo_c=951&fo_k=cc2d54cca24d815b641167cf059ffc74&fo_s=gplauk?mkwid=sC9TGeevq_dc&pcrid=51482416259&pkw=&pmt= I think I wouldn't have to upgrade my PSU either for it work, or am I wrong?
