I recently bought a pair of Sades SA-903 7.1 headphones. I want to install the drivers so I can use the surround sound, but I don't have a way to use the disc it came with. I went on to the website, and I downloaded the one for Windows 8 (what I'm currently using), but when I try to open the setup.exe file, it tells me to connect a Sades headset. I've tried all of my USB ports, but none of them work. I know it's plugged in right because I still hear sound. Anyone know the solution?

Is the problem my Windows 8? Because I didn't want to buy it, because $100 is expensive, so I found a code online and used it. Apparently, it was an update to 8.2, but I need to buy the full 8 to do a lot of stuff, such as change my user profile picture. So would I need to buy the full version in order to get the surround sound working?

What you should do is make 100% sure you have the correct drivers from the site. Now go to device manager and with the headset plugged in find them in the device manager, Click update drivers, Do not search online, browse to the folder where you have the drivers downloaded and update it from there.

again, make sure you downloaded the right drivers for your exact model of sades as they vary quite a lot.
I have that headset and I love it.
If it comes down to it, use a laptop and insert the disk in it. It does not matter, I know the disk is small just place it in the middle and it will read, then open the disk on your computer using the explore function. copy the contents of the disk specifically the driver, and place it onto a USB, then use the USB to install the drivers on your computer.

I might have done something wrong, but when I did the update drivers thing, it said it was up to date. But when I go into a game, and switch between stereo and surround, there is no difference. And I don't have a laptop that can read the disc either

On the disk is an actual sades program, after you have the program installed right click on the headphones icon and it should list all the settings, then go to to the 7.1 surround sound and Enable it from the sades menu.

This is the SAdes driver you need Here, make sure you uninstall whatever drivers you have instaled at the moment for the headset, delete them before runnning the .exe, that way it can recognize the device when you plug it in.

Yeah I don't have any way what so ever to get the driver off the disc

I uninstalled the current driver I had, but when I ran the setup.exe, it still told me to connect the headphones, and now I'm not hearing any sound at all

I tried this, and the sound is back, but it still keeps telling me to plug it in

The bottom right click the volume icon and manage playback devices, then right click the white open area and show disabled devices, make sure your headset is enabled and not disabled and is your default sound d3cice, if not set it to the default.

Not sure what d3cice means, but it is set as the default

I tried the Windows 10 one and it said it wasn't supported. I've added some pictures to see if you can find something that is wrong with what's going on. Also, would it matter if it's plugged into a USB3.0 port instead of 2.0?
