Zotac GTX 970 contradicting memory clock speeds.

I got a Zotac GTX 970 recently and its a great card. I've noticed some strange things while overclocking. In the program "Zotac Firestorm" there are 2 different memory clock speeds listed. Under the "Clocks" tab it says it is 1752 Mhz, but under the "Information" tab it says it is only 876 Mhz.

Does this mean the memory is running at half speed? I've been getting good FPS above 60 in games like Witcher 3. Also if I try to Overclock above 200 Mhz then games crash and my computer resets. I docked it down to a +100 GPU and Memory Clock and don't have issues in games with this.

Is something wrong with my card or is it the program? One last note whenever I shut down my computer and then power it on the next day the clocks reset to factory. This wasn't an issue with my last card the Zotac GTX 750 ti.

when idle the clock will not running at full speed. it is part of power saving feature. i don't know about zotac overclocking tool since usually i will just using MSI afterburner regardless the brand of my graphic card. probably you did not set for the setting to persist upon system reboot. for MSI AB there is option to 'apply overclocking at system start up'.

in regards to overclocking the system crash because of high overclock. you have to do it step by step. mine the limit is about +140 on the core clock (haven't play around with memory yet). but my card was overclocked from the factory to begin with. if you want to go crazy with overclock then you will need modded BIOS but using such BIOS will voided your warranty.
