Sorry if this is a big noob question. But better to be safe than sorry! Okay so I ordered all of my parts for the PC. Case arrived first so just decided to check it out. For starters, the case is the Antec P280 it is my first time building and have read plenty of guides and watched videos on the matter to understand each steps. One thing I noticed is no one (least from what I saw) mentions what screws to screw the motherboard into the standoffs.
Overlooking my screws that came with the case I can narrow it down to 2 screws I got, both come in a stock of 10. Heres some pics of them.
Does it matter which is used? They both fit inside of the brass Standoff fine from what I can tell. Appear to be the same length. its just one is noticeably wider on the top than the other. Not sure if the one is not wide enough to cover a motherboards screw hole. Or if the other is too wide to cover a motherboards screw hole.
Unsure if all motherboards are the same in terms of where you screw it in. But this is what I got
ASUS Z170-A LGA 1151 Intel Z170 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.1 USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard - Newegg.com
Just trying to avoid any potential disaster for my first build, Thanks!
