Is the 500GB PS4 enough storage?

I'm planning on getting a PS4 and I don't know whether to buy the 500GB model or the 1TB model. I usually buy the game on a disc rather than downloading it online. I do however download things like DLC'S, demos and a couple of games.

Thanks for the suggestion but what if I'm not planning on replacing my ps4's hdd?

This is a very subjective question.

How much are you planning on downloading your games?

Buying physical copies I imagine will save alot of space.

500GB isn't a HUGE amount of storage, so it's very very likely you will eventually fill it all up after some time.

Most of my games will be physical copies and the only things that I would be downloading would be DLC'S and demos(but very few demos).

If I am correct, then each game will take about 40 GB installed on the PS4, though I could be wrong. I am under the impression that disks are only for install. If you plan on having a large amount of games in play at one time, the 1tb would probably be better

I still have a 160gb ps3 and I have downloaded 3 games, 4 demos, 12 dlcs, and around 60 physical games and it's still ok

If that is the case then 500GB will be used up very quickly.

( I don't own a playstation)
