Metro Last Light Redux audio problems

i recently bought a Metro Redux Bundle off G2A and after i downloaded both games and started up Last Light, there was a continuous ringing and static during play time and even in through the menu screen. i re-installed and verified game cache but im still at a loss. has anyone experienced this or knows any ideas on how to fix it? any help is appreciated :)

Specs: i5 4690k, R9 270x, 8gb of ram, MSI Krait Sli mobo, windows 8.1 64bit

thanks for the response and tip :) i loaded up BF4 and CSGO and they both played fine, movie and other video audio are fine but its only a problem with Last Light.

its all good man, i unplugged my headset and plugged in some iPhone earbuds and the sounds fine so it must be my headset
