Yours is comparable with 750k in the chart.

I´d settle with this for $400. Optimally I´d go for a quadcore i5 - but it will be over your budget. i3 4170 still beats the x4 860k and has a better upgrade path too.

Thanks for all your help mate. I forgot to mention that I would like to do some basic video editing as well, meaning I need a quad-core like the AMD Athlon. My last question for you is; will I be able to do some upgrades in years to come? Thanks

The upgrade path is easier with the build i listed. I´d spend another 100 dollars on a better intel chip if I were you though.
