I have been trying for around a week and a half to get my User account turned into a Admin. I haven't had this problem until recently when my computer stopped asking me for my mom's Admin password and just straight-up denying me from moving a file into a folder, installing a program, ect. Nothing is working. I go into the Control Panel -> User Accounts -> Change my account type, but after I change it to an Admin, nothing happens. It sends me back to the previous page and acts as if I did nothing. I have been trying to long to get this to work... and It feels like my computer locked me out of itself...
And yes, I have tried to do all of these steps from my admin account to, and it is just as locked out as i am.
