So I really like the idea of the Xbox app on windows 10, specifically, its recording capabilities. You can set it to record up to the "last ten minutes" of gameplay.

The setting is basically making the computer record and delete the last 30 seconds of gameplay, until you have an awesome action moment or something, so you hit the hotkey, and BAM, you just captured the last 30 seconds of that action. Instead of having the recorder running for the whole gameplay session. It's comparable to Nvidia's Shadowplay capabilities, which has the same feature.

However, even putting it on "last 30 seconds" or "last 15 seconds" of gameplay makes my GPU shut down. My screens turn off and they don't come back on until I restart my computer. Whenever I turn the setting on, I can hear my GPU start to work, the fan increasing in speed until finally it gets really loud, and then after 30 seconds or so, it makes the screens shut off. (I use 2 screens but I only use my main one for gaming, the other is just a side screen)

Does this happen to anyone else? Do I actually not have adequate hardware to run this feature? I can record games just fine using XSplit, so I find it really odd that this happens.

Edit: Also when I use the normal recording feature the GPU does increase in sound slightly which means it's working harder but it's nothing like the other feature I'm asking about. It's just a steady slight fan speed higher, not an increasing fan speed (if that is what I'm hearing).

Edit2: Sorry, didn't provide specs:
