Reusing my CPU. Do Chip sets matter?

So I'm building a new computer, though I will be using many of my older computer parts. Like the Hard drive, CPU, Optical Drive, and PSU. I know that my CPU needs a LGA 1155 motherboard to fit. But if I'm looking for a new motherboard, should I stick to the same chipset if I want to keep my old CPU?

I am currently using a i7-2600s Quad Core Processor @ 2.8GHZ
With a Pegatron, Carmel Motherboard that has a Intel H61 chipset.

If you guys need more details on my motherboard:

Yes, but the Z-series motherboards are for overclocking, and you have a locked chip. If it's priced higher than a comparable H75, there's not really any point to getting the Z.

Then again, if you want to get your hands on a used 2600k, the Sandy Bridges are excellent overclockers.

Thanks! I've had my eyes on a motherboard that is a Intel Z75. Kinda of a dumb question but would Z75 still be compatible with my Processor? I'm using Pc part picker and they say there aren't any compatibility errors between the processor and motherboard.
