Is this video card compatible with my current PC?

Ok so my current system spec is this:

Processor -AMD FX(tm)-6100 Six-Core Processor
Video Card -AMD Radeon HD 7700 Series
RAM -8.2 GB
MotherBoard -ASUS M5A78L-M/USB3
OS -Microsoft Windows 10 (build 10240), 64-bit
PSU -XIGMATEK SL -8400BTX (400W TOTAL)

And I am looking into upgrading my build with this video card: EVGA GeForce GTX 950 SC Graphics Card
(http://www.currys.co.uk/gbuk/computing-accessories/components-upgrades/graphics-cards/evga-geforce-gtx-950-sc-graphics-card-10139471-pdt.html)

Will this work with the current build (minus the video card it will be replacing)?

Also is this card worth buying for that price? Like will it run newer games like Fallout 4, Star Wars BF on High-Medium at 60FPS?

Ok, so I (as you may have realized) am a bit of a noob when it comes to picking PC parts. So after a quick look at that post, would this suffice? Or is there anything of similar quality that's cheaper on there? (http://www.newegg.com/global/uk/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817371083)

So if I bought the PSU and this (http://www.currys.co.uk/gbuk/computing-accessories/components-upgrades/graphics-cards/evga-2-gb-nvidia-geforce-gtx-960-supersc-acx-2-0-pcie-graphics-card-10119400-pdt.html) that would be £268.98 which is a bit more than I'd like to spend as I'm currently learning to drive. How much of a difference is there between the 960 and the 950?

yes it would work just search building a pc there are several sites including toms on the forums that have a step by step and or video of rebuilding/ building a pc.
Its not really to hard depends on your skill level and size of case and things. I replaced a psu in my neighbors system in about 30 minutes including hiding most of the wires and tie wrapping things up. He has a mid tow so there was a good amount if room and i have been building pcs for a looooong time.
Your experience may be a little different due to how knowlegable and comfortable you are in doing it.

I have never built a PC or made changes to one so as you can imagine am a little afraid to try it in case I end up doing something wrong and busting the whole thing, is that a high risk factor? I'll check out a few videos on YT to see if I'm confident enough to try it

Its actually pretty easy if you find a good step by step guide just remember make sure your grounded by touching the case metal every so often and go slow the first time double and triple check all connections.
