I am vary confused with my new APU build I have a 8GB kit of G-Skill DDR3 2400 with in my ASUS A88X-PLUS I have the profile and memory voltage set to 1.65 so it will run at the 2400MHz speed now the BIOS is saying every thing is good but windows and CPU-Z are say other wise windows is say 1600MHz CPU-Z is saying 1799.6 I am new to the APU game and know that for good FPS I need the memory to run at a high speed but I am not sure if it is as I am getting three memory speed read outs all saying different any help in this would be great

AMD A10 7850K
G.SKILL Ripjaws X Series 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 2400MHz CL11
ASUS A88X-PLUS

The motherboard supports DDR3 2400(O.C.)/2250(O.C.)/2200(O.C.)/2133/1866/1600/1333 MHz Non-ECC, Un-buffered Memory
Dual Channel Memory Architecture

The 2400(O.C.) refers to Overclock.

The AMD A10 7850K supports DDR3-2100MHz.

You need to set the AI Overclock Tuner to [Manual]

Then you can set the Memory Frequency to whatever you want.

I understand the Frequency that th CPU and board support and run at. I have all the voltage set as it should be in the BOIS the ram is showing up at running at 2400Mhz but in windows it showing 1600MHz abd CPU-Z 1799.6 I just don't get why it would show that it it a glitch with windows and CPU-Z showing the over clocked frequency or is my BIOS no working as it should with over clocked frequency. I may not have worded my first question right
