Hi,

according to this my motherboard supports 1600 ddr3

http://www.msi.com/product/motherboard/H81I.html#hero-specification

its 1333 in the bios, with no XMP profiles to can select?. it's standard kingston hyperx 1600 blue.

Why can't i put this to 1600?

What CPU and what model of Hyper X, if they are the Fury line they set themselves up to the fastest they figure they can run, and you might be able to run faster under manual settings (they have no XMP profile). If the COPU is a lower end, good possibility 1333 is the best it can handle

In the 2nd pic, the max freqeuency is 1400. If i increase from 1333 - 1400 i'd imagine my timings would increase ? i don't think i can manually set 1600 - should i be able to ?

I've got it stress testing now @ 1.29v 4.2 ghz (77- 81 degrees on stoc using p95 26.6) i'm working on reducing the voltage.

Never know, you might upgrade rigs or the opportunity may come up someone might want faster and you can make a little off it. I always have some extra sets around and have had people offer more than regular sale price at stores because they wanted them right then ;)
