A week ago i spilled some water on the top of my pc, it wasn't much but the pc was on.
After restarting the pc the next day i got problems with booting, the pc boots, fans run, everything looks fine. But i have no display, my monitor says there is no signal detected.

I decided to bring the pc to a local repair shop, they told me the motherboard was broken.
So i ordered a new motherboard (p9x79 old, p9x79 WS new), but i got the exact same result.
- The pc boots and everything looks fine but i get no display, diag_cpu led is blue on my motherboard and the q-code says 00.

The 8 pin connector is connected, i reseated CPU and RAM and the guy at the repair store tested the GPU and it worked fine.

My setup:
700 watt Cooler Master psu
Intel Core i7-3820 3.60 GHz
Watercooling Corsair Hydro H80
Asus 2011 P9X79 (old motherboard)
Asus P9X79 (new motherboard)
Corsair Vengeance 16 GB DDR3-1600 Quad-Kit
Nvidia GTX660Ti 2GB

This motherboard supports flashback I believe. This will enable you to flash the bios without a CPU, couldn't hurt. Download the BIOS for your CPU, and then put it on a flashdrive, and put it in the flashback usb port.

Code 00 is as you describe - CPU cannot be detected.

I would see if the guy at the repair shop has a motherboard he can test the CPU on. It's the least he can do for making you go out and buy a new board for nothing.
