My CPU is quite hot for an unknown reason. It idles around 50 C and hits 100 C if I play Arma II for a few minutes. The CPU is an i5 4440. Its using a stock cooler and has thermal paste. I've tried reapplying it and got no affect. Also I have one intake and one exhaust fan. Any suggestions on how to get the temps to go down?

Solution
Has your cpu always been this hot? You might want to buy a aftermarket cpu cooler. Everyone usually buys a cooler master evo 212. Replacing your case fans with higher rpm ones might also help the problem.

I have higher RPM fans for intake/exhaust. I suppose I better pick up a aftermarket cooler. Thanks for the reply
