So I have been trying to stream here lately and it is constantly dropping my frames very low every few minutes, I have 13mb up speed and 97 down. I don't think internet is an issue but I could be wrong, I'm connected with ethernet. I have a FX-8350 with a GTX 660, so maybe it's my cpu? I have OBS set to the recommended settings for Twitch with 2000 encoding. (last night I streamed at 2k for hours without very few hiccups but now it's doing it frequently) when it happens, OBS doesn't say high encoding or anything it acts as if it isn't even happening. If you need any more information just tell me what you need. Thank you very much for your help. P.S. nothing is hogging my CPU when it drops, instead CSGO goes from using 40% CPU to using only 7%, everytime the frames drop the percentage of how much the exe is using drops, so I don't understand what is happening or how to fix.
