My PC has gigabyte h61ms motherboard,g630 processor and 2gb ram.recently I add a new 4gb ram of 1333mhz. Then I turn on my computer. It start normally as usual. But I faced a problem when I shutdown the PC. When I click on shutdown it appears to be shutdown but the power led of CPU didn't turn off. But when I remove new 4gb ram it shutdown successfully
I have tested the ram on various PC same problem happened.
Is it the problem of ram? If yes why this thing is happening and how could I overcome the problem?

Thanks in advance.

It has to be the ram stick since you tested it on other pcs and got the same problem. You would have to go get another stick of ram and test it in place of your 4 gb stick in question.

If you wanted to be sure you can run memtest 86 on your 4 gb stick in question. A bad ram stick can cause quite a bit of issues and can sometimes cause your pc to not boot. Once you can confirm your stick of ram is bad you could go get another and see what happens.
