Hey, im switching to mbo part of the forum from cpu in hopes of an answer on whats happening. I recently installed hyper evo and new mbo, all was fine, then i realized i didnt put all of the screwes in and i had time yesterday so i did that using the magnetic tip screwdriver. Rig first started normally then shut itself down almost instantly. Checked the cables then started again, got to bios logo then again shutdown. Started again and everything was working. After like an hour i shut it down to see if it will start normally, it did with corrupt bios message. After bios "fixed" itself it started normally. Prime ran normally. I powered it off last night and this morning i got the same message. The only thing i did in bios was to disable cool and quiet, c1e state and c6 state, the dont pull that much power states. Anyone knows whats going on? Im worried now i didnt screw something up.

The only other tricky thing i did was when i was removim mbo to add the missing screwes on the back pannel i removed it by holding it for hyper evo. It didnt touch anything, came out easy and went back the same way, i let it rest on the wooden table next to my old mbo. I tighten the screwes on cooler after but it didnt need tightgening.

Is there a fix to this? Do i need to pull everything out again? Or flash bios?

withthe evo cooler make sure the cooler in the right way there an alignment pin on the cooler. make sure the cooler not on tight and is shorting out the cpu/mb. make sure the mb not shorting to the case or io shield. make sure there noting shorting the cmos chip out. it a small ship with a bios rev sticker on it. if your having issue i would boot into the bios and run the bios update 2x with the newest bios to make sure there no issues with the bios.

ok did all of that, cooler was set properly didnt need to adjust it, pin was still is in the one of the 2 half moons on the mount. I might have tighten all of it just too much. i just unscrewed everything just too loosen it and tight everything up again just a little. Rig started normally, no bios error message. Will monitor it for a while to see whats happening. Thanks :)
