I recently purchased an Alienware x51 for very cheap and I want to play games with it in the living room. The computer didn't come with a graphics card so I want to buy one. A very good card is EVGA GTX 750 ti FTW w/ ACX cooling. Now my question is, will the graphics card work stable on 330 watt power supply and will cooling be a problem because of the small space inside the Alienware??. I don't think of Overclocking or something like that. Thanks in Advance :wahoo:

Here are the specs of the Alienware:
Intel Core i5-3450S
1tb hard drive
128gb SSD
330 watt power supply
Windows 8 (might upgrade to 10)

its recommended to have a ◦500 watt or greater power supply with a minimum of 30 amps on the +12 volt rail for the EVGA GTX 750ti with a 400W being the minimum so sadly no that PSU isn't enough to power this.

My bad I must of found a different version of this card maybe the overclocked version, it only Draws 80W of power which is pretty good, what is your current 330W psu is it 80+ certified ? if not it may struggle for power but it is potentially enough and should work

It's basically a brick (like the xbox 360) and a power board inside the pc, I have to look around the internet, but it might be 80+ because its from alienware and they should make quality components. Anyways thank you and I wil keep you updated =))
