Hi,

I recently had 570 SLI setup and have bought the first of 2 GTX980Ti cards. For the time being though, I need to have at least one 570 in the px to keep all 3 of my screens working.

I've suddenly got a "Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems. (Code 43)" on both of my 570s in Device manager.

I've got a 1200w PSU so I don't think power is the problem. I know that you can't do SLI unless they're the same GPU but I'm not sure if there are any rules against just having two different cards in a PC at the same time?

Any ideas guys?

Thanks!

Hi, The GTX 980ti will drive 3 monitors, every card starting from the 6 series will just use the GTX 570 as a phys-x card or get rid of it altogether until you get the second GTX 980ti. You must be using all DVI to connect to your monitors.

Yeah I managed to juggle them around, but it's weird because one monitor has to use HDMI and looks kinda fuzzy and not as vibrant.

It was really just about why the 570s just stopped working just by introducing another card. I mean the PC recognises them, but just can't start them up for some reason.
