When I go into a fan's configuration, it only has one setting of fan speed- Default. I can't understand why it won't let me change the speed. Also my parts are...

EVGA 500w PSU
I know there is a compatibility issue with my motherboard and cpu- The motherboard can only handle around a 90w cpu but mine is over that. Could it be this?
