Hello so I went into my bios today for the first time just looking around to try and find out the max speed of memory my mobo could run, so I found my self in the overclocking section under dram frequency and it only goes to 1600 so is that the fastest my current ram can go to or any ram?
Fastest Mhz my mobo can run?

What mobo and CPU, the mobo may well be capable of 3000 or better, but for a true anaswer it will be a data rate that both the CPU and the mobo can run, CPU might only be capable of 1333 or whatever 
MSI B75MA-P45 (MS-7798) and i5 3570k ... my mobo is weird I've found 2 different specs for it here..

Initially when the mobos were released there was a 'hole' which allowed for OCing the mobo via multiplier, Intel later issued a chipset update that removed the hole. Generally speaking the B75 isn't an OCing mobo, though some have been able to do so. And it normally takes a bit of a CPU OC to run DRAM faster than 1600 or so
