Hi guys,

I built a computer a few months ago, but I only bought a HDD because I wanted to limit the money I put on my computer at that time. Now over time, I bought some additionals components, and now I ordered a 250GB SSD 850 EVO!
I surfed on few forums to check how I'll do the transfer, because for sure I wanted my windows 10 on my SSD but I wanna keep my HDD too!
So here's what I plan to do:
1- Remove games from my computer, and software I don't really need (Keeping windows, visual studio, microsoft office suite, things like that..)
2- Clone my HDD to my SSD using something like EaseUS migration software.

Can someone tell me if that would work? (for sure what I'll clone will be less than 250gb)
Also, after the cloning is done, I'll probably boot onto my SSD, but is my HDD ready to install the stuff I deleted? Do I need to change the boot order or it is automatic?
It's the first time I'll use a computer with more than one storage:)

Thanks for your answer! :D

Space considerations. The Samsung Data Migration is good. However, the current used space must be below 200GB. The tool will choke if there is too much data.

Other tools are Macrium Reflect, Easus Todo, Casper, Acronis Trueimage.

850 evo comes with its own cloning software so its simple. As long as the hd is smaller than the ssd (aim for like 210gb or less because you'll want to over provision it) I had to disconnect my hd to get my ssd to show up in my boot list... Booted from ssd, hooked hd back up and set priority in bios. Use the Samsung magician go set windows up to run in ssd mode instead of hd mode to actually use it properly
