Hello all,

My parents have a Gateway SX2110G-UW23 that they use for a general home computer. My youngest brother occasionally uses it for games like Minecraft, War Thunder, Total War, etc. It can run these games on low settings, but even at those settings it gets choppy.

I have been looking at several options for a low power draw (and low profile) graphics cards and keep coming back to the 740 and 750 series Nvidia cards. Have I missed something in the last 6 months or will cards in those veins be a good option?

Solution
Neither of those cards are safe to run with a 220W OEM PSU. You do so at your own risk. The GT 730 DDR5 64 bit is the most I personally would recommend.
Besides, from the looks of where the PCIe x16 slot is located, you are going to be required to use a true single-slot card. One that does not extend into the next bay. Your slot is right up next to the case wall, is it not?
