Yes your safe with that temp after an hour of prime 95 stressing the cpu to it`s max.
You should be able to on average when overclocking a Amd FX cpu get about 800 to 900Mhz out of it extra when overclocking.

Higher and you will have to start to bump the cpu`s core voltage up in steps to keep it stable under a prime 95 test.
At about 1.45v to 1.5v the heat on the FX cpu starts to rise quiet quickly.

Never take it above 1.6v on the core voltage that is the max limit in voltage you should apply if you intend to go a bit further in your overclocking.

At that point though, or about 1.5v of the cpu core voltage.
To keep things in check you should be running a water cooling loop if you are not already.
If your on Air with a good aftermarket cooler your 50c as said under a prime test is good.
