With this ram work on a Asus Z97-K?

Hello all, Im currently thinking about getting a new motherboard the Asus Z97-K Intel Z97. Was wondering if the following would work on the board as there is a good deal at the moment.

HyperX FURY Series 8GB (2x 4GB) DDR3 1866MHz CL10 DIMM Memory Module Kit - Black

Also would the Intel Pentium G3258 CPU work ok and be overclockable?.

That RAM will work fine with that motherboard. In terms of the CPU, it will work fine and you may be able to get a decent overclock on it.

Memory type for the Pentium G3258 is DDR3-1333, DDR3L-1333 @ 1.5V. Overclock can go DDR3-1600MHz. No need for DDR3-1866MHz with that CPU.

The Fury will set itself up to run as fast as it can with your rig since it operates under PnP, if any thought to a CPU upgrade down the road the 1866 might be a good choice

Ah thanks all.. still looking around as i only have a small budget of around 200 and the main thing i need to replace is the motherboard. But rather getting a processor for my 1155 socket im going to get a 1150 socket board along with ram and a processor. I will be upgrading to a i5 and a better graphics card in the future which is why im looking for a decent base board to start.
