i7 6700k vs i5 6600k: Is the $200 difference worth it?

I currently want to buy a CPU and the i5 6600k is $239 while the i7 6700k is $439. Is it worth it if I spend $200 more on the i7 over the i5? I will only be using the CPU for GAMING.

I agree definitely not worth it for ONLY gaming at the moment, however if you already have a decent graphics card and you're not super tight on money it would help future proof your computer a bit.

While there will be a slight increase in performance of the i7 to the i5 due to the larger cache in gaming, the $200 would be better used into a different component such as a graphics card. As mentioned, almost no game currently takes advantage of the extra 4 threads.
