I am currently running 3 GTX 980s in SLI and I know I can run 3 monitors. My goal, is to end up with 3 1440p monitors on my stand. Currently I have 3 1080p. My idea is to get 2 good IPS monitors with 60hz refresh for the sides, and a great gaming monitor for the middle screen, 144hz, gysnc, and such. Most likely a TN panel due to those specs. Would like an IPS for colors. Now, in doing this, I would run windowed borderless for games, and would have netflix or something running on one screen, and chrome running on the other so i can easily google things i want during play. Would having 2 60hz monitors on the sides prevent my middle screen from being at 144hz?
