If my HDD is nearing its end of life, can I keep using it until it dies?

Other than losing the data on it, is there any harm on using it until it dies?
Just wondering since I might have to use it until I can afford a new one.

Nope. Though if you lose important data Windows may not boot.

You OS is on the SSD , so it's fine , won't mess up system when it quits.
