Hey guys,

New around here but have found you guys to be an amazing (also funny and sarcastic at times) community.

With that being said, I am building a custom gaming rig, and can go into detail if youd like, but im looking at what options id have for water cooling. Basically without listing the entire build, im planning on using a Corsair 760T Full Tower Case along with an Intel Core i7-4790K and a EVGA GeForce GTX 980 Superclocked Video Card (two in SLI at SOME point). Im wanting to liquid cool both CPU and GPU and possibly if im feeling adventurous the motherboard (MSI Z97A-GAMING 7). Now i know some of your answers may be "well why cool this or why cool that..." and my simple answer is: i kinda want to. while it may be pointless to cool the motherboard, and again, that one is still a big MAYBE, im trying to see AT LEAST what the options are KIT wise for cooling the CPU and GPU. what I WANT is a cylinder res and at least a 3 fan rad (preferably thinner) which i can then expand into another rad (dual fan) in the future. so planning ahead with the size of the res. If such a kit doesnt exist, could you point me in the right direction (part wise) to purchasing things individually as i am an admittedly newb when it comes to water cooling. it is something ive always wanted to do, and am at a point where i can do so and will have gear that can be cooled due to overclocking of certain components.

Obviously the less the tag, the happier ill be. But i understand that some things you cant skimp on.

With all THAT being said, what do you guys think?

Thank you all in advance, and if im asking dumb questions, please feel free to let me know ;)

Solution
Have a look at the Swiftech H 220X or H240X. They are component-based AOI coolers that use custom loop parts, but can be expanded and provide entry-level prices. https://www.techpowerup.com/reviews/Swiftech/H240-X/

LOOKS to be along the same lines as a H100i or H110i GTX or am I wrong!? I've been looking at some alphacool stuff and am wanting a bit more of a "custom" look, but their packages don't REALLY have what I'm looking for. I mean for the most part they do minus the res, which, why buy a package only to buy and replace the res you won't use? Lol. If only there were a site like pcpartpicker for water cooling....
