Well i will probably be upgrading piece by piece instead of all at once, but roughly £500 at the moment.

I was also thinking of switching to Intel but don't know if that's possible

Very possible and highly recommended:

Power Supply: EVGA SuperNOVA G2 650W 80+ Gold Certified Fully-Modular ATX Power Supply (£67.98 @ CCL Computers)

After this, all you'd need to upgrade is the graphics card.

Thank you so much for the fast response, sounds like a cheap(ish) solution that I will more than likely go with.

P.S. Will i have to buy a new windows 10 if i upgrade with all of these compnents.

If your current version of Windows 10 is an OEM version, then it's tied to the original motherboard it was installed on. If you intend to upgrade the motherboard and processor, then per the Windows 10 license agreement, you will need a new Windows 10 license for the new motherboard.

If your current version of Windows 10 is a Retail copy, then you can use that license on your new computer (so long as it's not in use on the old computer).
