Hi all, i found a used Gigabyte GTX 780 GHz Edition (not the Ti one) for 250 EUR (or 175 GBP) and i am not sure if it will be good value for money in order to extend the life of my system for 2-3 more years. (http://www.gigabyte.com/products/product-page.aspx?pid=4816#ov)
Currently my GTX 570 is showing its age but i don't wand to spend more than 250 for a GPU.
I only game and intend to game at 1080p, mainly Diablo 3 and the occasional 3A title such as Witcher 3 and Fallout 4 (would like to play these kind of games maxed out at 1080p).
- Does it make sense for the price to get that card?
- Would a GTX 970 be more value for money or should i wait (i could wait) for new Pascal gen from Nvidia?
Below my system, any advise is much apreciated.
i5-2500K CPU @ 3.30GHz, Memory: 8192MB RAM, Gigabyte P67A-UD3P, Gigabyte NVIDIA GeForce GTX 570 OC, Samsung EVO 850 500GB
Also, my PSU is 650W, i suppose it will be sufficient, right?
