I have 3 4GB Ram sticks at 10600U, should I install the third one?

I've been looking around and see a lot of inconsistencies about ram working well or not. My question is that I have three 4gb 10600U 09-10-B0 that I received from an old desktop computer (one was fried, the others were tested and run fine). I currently have two 4gb 12800U sticks in my setup. Which ones should I go with? Should I add 12gb to my computer and get rid of the first two sticks, or just keep the setup I have now and junk these new sticks I got? My motherboard is able to run both of these by the way.

If the three will run in your rig, sure 12GB is better than 8, and while there are no guarantees they will play, as long as you have them can try 2 of each - if they'll play would have 16GB, would try newr in slots 1-3 from CPU and older in slots 2-4 from CPU
