Would it be possible to run a twin GTX 970 4GB on a 600 watt psu? because i have a AMD CPU that takes up 125 Watts.. and for those who are about to ask what my motherboard is, its a MSI 970 Gaming Motherboard.
Nope. Not suggested even with a good 600w unit(the CX is not good). Youd be better off spending that money on a new cpu as your current cpu is already going to be a bottleneck in cpu heavy games with a single 970.
The CX 600 doesn't have the required PCIe cables to support two GTX 970's.
You'll need a PSU that has four 6+2 PCie connectors to support SLI 970's.
If you're in the U.S. this is currently one of the best PSU's deals available that will support SLI 970's:
Power Supply:XFX TS 650W 80+ Gold Certified ATX Power Supply ($39.99 @ Newegg) Total: $39.99 Prices include shipping, taxes, and discounts when available Generated by PCPartPicker 2015-11-23 19:08 EST-0500

i already figured that when i tried to play Space Engineers with planets on high settings and the motherboard can only support AMD cpu's otherwise i would of went for a i7 4k one, other than that game, i can run the likes of FO4 and KF2 at ultra at 1080p, KF2 at 60 fps always, FO4 dropping to around 50 fps in certain areas.
For the price of a 970 you should easily be able to get an i5 and a motherboard or even possibly an i7 or a xeon with a board if you need 8 threads. But even an i5 will be a lot better than the FX.

i live in the UK so i think ill have more of an option when it comes to PSU's but im not really an expert at this kind of stuff.

As i think i have previously said my motherboard may not support Intel CPU's unless if they do then that means that MSI Really need to update their website for the 970 Gaming board processor support. My Computer has already been built and i dont wish to spend another £1000+ to build a separate one for an intel cpu
on another note, what would be a suggested cpu cooler for an AMD FX-8350 inside a CiT Vanquish Gaming Toolless Case attached to that MSI 970 Gaming Motherboard? because i plan to overclock this later down the line and getting the 2133 (OC) ram too.
