1600mhz ram in 1333mhz slot?

Hello everyone,
I was looking to move some RAM around between my hp pavilion and my dell latitude e6320. The hp has two 4gb 1600mhz ddr3 modules. I was hoping to put these into the e6320, but the ram in that operates at 1333mhz. I was just wondering if the 1600mhz ram would work in the dell? Thanks

That Dell latitude uses DDR3 SO DIMM (for laptops) will not work in a desktop, (assuming the HP Pavilion is a desktop).

If they are both laptops (I don;t know because you don't say)
The 1600Mhz ram will downclock to 1333mhz and should have no problems
