Hi Gamers,

Planing to build a gaming rig,
Can u pl suggest whether this combination will be good

CPU: fx 8350
GPU: MSI Geforce gtx 970 gaming 4gb
MOBO: asus m5a97 evo r2.0
Just wanted to make sure whether this mobo can handle this CPU and GPU..

And is there any difference between asus m5a97 evo r2.0 and asus m5a97 r2.0...

Appreciate quick solutions,,,

Solution
Yes it can handle it good .

I would rather go with fx 8320 + hyper 212 evo and overclock it to 4.0 Ghz (8350 level)
and R9 390 for the GPU for better performance

However this combination has no problem , The evo board can handle 8350 good , and the difference between it and the non evo board is :

Evo board has 6+2 Digi+ Power phase which means it supports better overclocking
Evo board has better sound card
Evo has 2 eSATA ports
and an overall better power management and more ports than the non evo board

It's worth the extra price over the non evo board .
