I built a custom computer with a dh61ww mobo and intel i5 2500, 8gb ddr3 and hd 4550. The problem I'm facing is that computer freezes at randomly I guess and the screen becomes pink( not completely pink but like when you drop water on an LCD ). I recently installed windows after formatting my c drive and installed drivers from cd. Plus my DVD rom emits loud sounds at startup. I have a 400w intex action psu. I think it's because of heat up but I'm not sure.

Sounds like the graphics driver could be wrong , update that,, can also do this if temps rise too much.
The psu is also a very likely source as its underpowered to run all that

Thankyou for replying but I don't think that it is a driver issue as I just installed them from a new driver pack and it freezes even when using the integrated or hd 4550. But one thing that I noticed was that when the computer freezes while using the integrated gpu it show pink screen but when it freezes while using my hd 4550 it doesn't show the pink pixels so it may be related to my processor

I don't have anyone who could lend it to me but computer power supply calculator webistes estimate my power requirements to be around 284w with the gpu so i don't think that that's the problem but I could take the computer to the vendor and ask him to take a look. Plus after the computer freezes everything seems to be running the way it was without any sound. I checked all the fans and thankyou for answering
