Csgo very low fps, because of pc?

Hello! When I play csgo, my framerate is between 30 and 15 FPS, so it's kinda unplayable. Does anyone know if it's because of my graphic card:Intel G41 Express Chipset, or might be caused by something else? I could run Mw2 just fine, so I'm confused. Hope someone can help!

That is a very slow video card, it's pretty much guaranteed to be caused by that, although a PC with that chipset would likely be slow in general. Compare your specs to the requirements for the game. You may need to lower settings or resolution.

Yeah, I thought so already. I've never been too good with pc specs, so sorry if it was a dumb question. I already tried lowering my settings, but it didn't make a difference. Nonetheless, now I know it's probably useless to increase RAM. Thank you.

Depends on how much RAM you have and on the rest of the system. What is the CPU you have, power supply and case? If the rest of the system is decent, upgrading the computer with a $50 video card can make a huge improvement in games.

My processor is a Intel Pentium E5800, I have 3GB RAM. I'm not sure about my power supply, I could check it out tomorrow.
Is this enough information for you to be able to conclude if a video card upgrade can be enought?
Really appreciate your help.

That CPU is OK for low spec gaming, it's dual core and decent clock speed. 3 gig ram will hold you back a bit, 4 would be better, 8 best if you have a 64 bit Windows.

If you have a 300 watt power supply a low end card like an nVidia GT 730 GDDR5 will be OK for you, or if you can find a Radeon 7750, that would also be good, and would be better than the 730.
