My internet connection has recently been unbearable. It seems to be fine for an hour and then becomes very slow for about the same time and then becomes normal again.
While it is running bad i checked speedtest and my ping was upwards of 700. The download speed is a constant 0.3Mbs but has random spikes where it goes to the normal speed. The upload speed stays the same.
when this problem occurs it effects every device in the house. It has not always been a problem, it recently started happening. Nothing has been changed in the house, no cables have been tampered with, no settings have been changed, it just suddenly started happening.
I called my ISP and they said that they have been monitoring my connection and it seems fine, they said that the problem is occurring due to the interference with the modem but i do not understand that as nothing has been changed in the house.
